I am really excited to be sharing with you all my latest Outfit of the day, Floating in Florals. I was inspired by the summer breeze and wanted an outfit that will reflect my mood of the weather, which a maxi dress with a lovely floral print running through the entire has just done! I love the mid thigh slit in the dress a feature that attracted me to this maxi dress, The side slit is perfect for showing off a little leg, without revealing so much coverage! Coverage in just the right amount!!! 😀
I kept the breezy, flowy elements of the outfit running through my love for my latest kimono from First & I that features a lovely fringe at the bottom! The transparency of the material mixed with the delicate fringe bottom detailing is just pure perfection, and definitely gives off that Boho Chic vibe perfect for this Season!
I completed the look with a pair of platform Block Heels I picked up from New look, I initially wanted to purchase them as soon my eyes fell deep in love with them, about 2 months ago! However to my surprise (in a good way) I managed to bag the heels for just under half the price in the SALE! SCORE 😀 & completed the look with my light reflective frames I picked up from Quay Australia. Reflective framed sunglasses are on trend this season, with frame colours ranging from Grey – Green & mine featuring a pink / purple frame <3!!!
I also added some flash tats that I recently received from a close Blogger friend of mine, Rachel from the the Daily Luxe blog. I featured a couple of the designs on my arms! I adore the flash tattoos as they add a bit of dimension and colour to a look, especially with their designs. I adore the wrap around the arm ones (bracelet / cuff) designs, they’re lovely to layer up and even the smaller designs & what makes them even more amazing is that they’re in gold & silver! YAY <3 I couldn’t help myself, and added as many as I could on 🙂
For my hair, I went for a look that is just easy to create, I sectioned off a section on the top of my head, leaving most of the hair falling down and brushed it towards the side (not too far to one side) and tied the top section up into a really high and thin pony tail, that just sweeps down onto the side! A really on trend hair style at the moment, you can even tie the top section into a top knot (bun) instead of a high ponytail 😀
