|MAC| Morning Coffee Pro Longwear Lip Pencil

I am super excited to share with you all this MACMorning coffee review as its the latest lip liner I’ve fallen in love with! I used to be the one type of person who never saw the use of wearing a lip liner, but after being converted by my lovely friends and blogger buddies, I’ve realised that I was missing out big time when it came to my lip routine!

Without lip liners in my life, I now realise what a huge difference they make to the dynamics of the lip colour, the staying quality and the appearance of them looking fuller.

I recently entered into the MAC Store in Covent Gardens London, and I taken care of by the lovely Makeup Artist Bianca. B who showed me a couple of things on using and applying lip liners & helped me with selecting this lovely Brown – Nude lip liner to accompany some of my existing MAC lipsticks! Bianca told me to test out the lip pencils under the lipstick as an outline & also to play around with the lip pencils and try adding on the lip liner over the lipstick too to add a bit more volume to the lips!

MACMorning Coffee is a Dirty Rose Lip pencil with a tone of Brown to it. I love these Pro longwear pencils, it’s the first time I’ve tried a lip pencil from this range & they are amazing on the lips. The lip pencil just glides onto the lips without really drying quickly! I worried about it being a pro longwear pencil that it will instantly dry on my lips without room to blend, but honestly it was very soft & easy to blend onto the lips! I definitely recommend this range of lip liner pencils for those with a bold lip love as the colours are bolder & intense!

Here is a swatch with just Morning Coffee on my lips:

Lots of Love ❀

  1. Love the color, seems like a great shade to go underneath several of your lippies. Love the fact the MUA helped you so well πŸ™‚ great customer service is such a bonus.

    1. Ahhh Anne, you have to go & swatch this colour! It’s perfect with a lot of lipsticks hehe πŸ™‚ I am loving it with MAC – Twig it looks stunning together! Hehehe & omg usually the MUA’s at MAC are unhelpful, this one was so delightful πŸ™‚ I love great customer service! Xoxo

      1. They are usually awful, but when you find a good one they are the best! Twig is also on my to swatch list, really must get to a counter πŸ˜‰

      2. Hehehe yes! Twig is a gorgeous must have colour! I think you need to head into a MAC counter, let me know if they were horrible or nice to you haha xoxo

    1. Hehehe, I would use the lip pencil as a base & then create an outline for your lips with the pencil & fill in with a complimenting lipstick on top for added dimension! πŸ™‚ xoxo

  2. Of all the lip liners I’ve come across, this is undoubtedly the most gorgeous and luxurious one in appearance I’ve seen! I’m yet to try any for myself, though this is definitely at the top of my list to try! πŸ™‚

  3. Serene you’ve made me want to try lipliners! I like how you say you put it over lipstick too to make the lips look fuller. This Mac shade is super beautiful and I can imagine it looking good with loads of different eye makeup looks. Wonderful review as always hun πŸ™‚
