I am super duper excited about sharing with you all my latest love in life, the Charlotte Tilbury Magic foundation in shade 3!
I am a huge Charlotte Tilbury makeup fan, I think her products are diamonds! & after watching a couple of reviews and tutorials using Charlotte’s latest foundation, I really wanted to try something new for myself and I could not be more happier. I’ve converted my thoughts on loving my previous foundation the Lancôme Teint Idole ultra 24 hour foundation & instead have fallen in love with the Magic Foundation!
Upon visiting Selfridges last week, I made my way to the Charlotte Tilbury counter & made a couple of makeup essential purchases. A lovely makeup artist named Huda helped me determine which shade of foundation I was. I initially thought I was a shade 2, however that is because I swatched the foundation on my hand & my face is a shade darker than my skin! haha 😀 & Huda carefully applied shade 2, 3 & 4 in different sections of my face to show me which one is the best shade for my skin & we came to the conclusion that shade 3 was the best option! So I would really advise you test foundations on your neck / face region instead of your hand to determine the right shade for your skin colour!
(Note how my hand does appear to be lighter than the foundation, so always test on your neck/ face)!!!
& Here is a little selfie to show you how much I’m loving my foundation & if you didn’t see it on my social media accounts this weekend, I went & got my nose pierced :)!!!

I love everything about this foundation, including everything from the packaging detailing, to the actual formula of the foundation & it’s staying power!
The Magic Foundation is a poreless, flawless & long lasting coverage foundation with SPF15. I have 0 complaints about this foundation. It feels like silk on the skin, I usually found with my other foundations that they do give a high coverage & last a long time, but always felt a bit heavy on my skin. However, with the Charlotte Tilbury – Magic Foundation it gives you the high coverage that you need without weighing down your skin or feeling very heavy! I’ve worn the foundation for periods of 12+ hours and I’ve found the foundation to last that long without melting. A little powder touch up is required for touching up during the day (if you have oily skin like mine, you’re bound to get a little shiny during the day)! The foundation dries matte on the face & doesn’t dry quickly, which gives you time to blend it in properly. I blend in the foundation using my Nicka K Airbrush Blending Sponge. Shade 3 is described as being a neutral beige for Light Skin Tones with Cool Undertones.
I would definitely recommend trying this foundation out, you won’t be disappointed & you’ll have flawless, next to perfect looking skin within seconds!!!
