I am excited to be back, and I apologise for the little break I’ve had away from blogging! Sometimes life get’s the better of you & other things in life get you busy! But hopefully I’ll be managing that much better and I’ve made my comeback with a couple of PR Sample products that were sent over for me to try from Giorgio Armani! 🙂 ❤
I have had the pleasure of receiving a lot of Giorgio Armani makeup beauties to play around with but I wanted to start of with the *Maestro Foundation & the *Maestro Glow Foundation in the shade 5!
I was a bit hesitant at first being introduced into the brand I’ve heard a lot of amazing things about the foundations but I never had the chance of trying them out for myself & When I was sent shade 5, at first I was a bit nervous that the colour wouldn’t match my skin tone as I’ve got fairly pale skin. However, when I tried out the shades on my neck I found that the colour match was perfect! I’ve never been as happy having the right colour match from a foundation as happy as I am from the Maestro collection! I would recommend for potential buyers into the foundation range to go to their nearest counter and swatch the colours for their skin tones, as the numbers really don’t match the colour pay off on everyones individual skin tone colour!
I’ve found through trialling the foundations that they’re a bit watery in consistency but this isn’t a bad thing as they contain no water, instead they’re packed with oils. The liquid nature of the foundation enables you to blend in your foundation with ease. I love that they’re liquid-y as the foundation safely locks and becomes creamy and matte once you blend it into the skin! Also the colour pigmentation of the Armani foundation is medium, so you can build up the coverage by layering or you can wear it lightly for an every day kind of foundation coverage.
I usually just apply one layer and it manages to cover any redness in my skin and it looks beautiful and fresh for up to 16 hours wear without melting off 😛 … it has even maintained a natural looking glow without (melting off) during the summer heatwave that hit the UK earlier in September :P! The Maestro & Maestro glow both give off a lovely after glow that looks natural and not oily whatsoever, which is lovely as fresh looking glow is a look that everyone is trying to achieve with their beauty looks 😀 & a fresh glow is definitely on trend!
I would definitely recommend trying out this foundation, not only is the colour match truer than any other foundation I’ve tried, but also the quality of the colour pigmentation, and the way it perfects any imperfections you’re trying to hide on your skin & its lasting nature of 16 hours wear time! I also love the packaging for the foundations I love the sophisticated clear bottle and the black typeface is absolutely beautiful, you’d display the bottles to grab attention on your dressing tables! 😛 I would recommend this foundation for those looking to achieve non greasy glowy skin! I have oily skin myself and found the nature of the foundation to be creamy and matte and offers just a fresh after glow!
