I hope you’re all enjoying your weekend :)!
‘Some People smile in the rain, whilst other’s just get wet.’
A special person in my life showed me the true meaning of appreciating the rain. They showed me that the rain falling was a truly beautiful feeling, and for that I’m forever grateful… as the appreciation for the rain reminded me of walking side by side with beauty, and with the amazing person that invited my idea of falling in love with the motions of the rain, the sound of it is therapeutic and peaceful, as it touches the ground and nurtures the plants of the Earth… it’s absolutely incredible!
On that note, I got to catch up with a lovely dear friend of mine, Karen from the Style Sunrise Blog, a couple of days ago, in our favourite hang out area, Notting Hill Gate. It was lovely catching up with Karen, over a cup of Coffee in our little gem of a coffee place, called Farm Girl, on Portobello Road, in Notting Hill. Tucked away in a little mews, we got to catch up over a wonderful Cappuccino and Latte, and shared laughs as we haven’t gotten the chance to meet up for about a year!… It’s funny how friendships can start from a thing like blogging, but honestly… I couldn’t have met a more wonderful person, as blogging was our first shared interest, but through growing our friendship, we’ve both found that we have so much more in common, and that we can be completely ourselves laughing away like a bunch of children at the most silliest and wonderful things! …. But I wont lie, the only thing that was missing, was Carolin, our wonderful friend that we also met through blogging, and usually joins us on our catch ups <3 I can honestly say, that if blogging has taught me anything, is that I could find genuinely amazing people, that have become great friends, and am thankful for meeting both Karen, and Carolin from the Style Lingua Blog.
After coffee we walked, and talked in the rain, and we didn’t let it stop us from taking outfit pictures, and we got the chance to embrace the rain, and all its beauty… and also got to feature my handy little (but big) umbrella in the shots too! Karen kindly shot my outfit, and I also got the chance to take some amazing shots of her outfit! <3
