Welcome back to Surreal Serene!!! Today is a lovely post, on one of the Makeup Revolution beauties that has had all the bloggers, celebrities raving about… and that’s the Conceal & Define Concealer!!!
The Conceal & Define comes in 18 shades, which is amazing, as you’ll be sure to find a shade that will match your skin tone!!! The range of colours are fair – deep shades all with different variations in warm – neutral – cool undertones as well!!!
I’ve chosen the shade C3 – which matches my skin tone the most, the most important thing is to get a concealer that is one shade lighter than your skin tone so that it brightens up your face, and under eye area.
The C3 was one shade lighter, and the formula blends on the face with perfection (I have a Youtube video on swatching this concealer, and trialling it out – check below)… The formula is super creamy, and blends into the skin to perfection and with ease!!! I love how pigmented the concealer is, and a little goes a long way. You’ll need one swipe to fully cover your entire eye area without layering. This is because the concealer is very full coverage!!!
I love that the formula lasts for more than 12 hours without creasing or melting off, and I would set it with a setting powder to also set in the concealer, and prevent it from budging!!! I have been using my Wowder – Glossier Setting Powder with my Spectrum Buffing Brush (there will be a Glossier Series on my blog soon)!!! Stay tuned!!!
I love the quality of the Conceal & Define Concealer from Makeup Revolution as it’s great value for money, priced at £4.00 it’s a bargain, and I will definitely be repurchasing a whole load more of this concealer!!! I just think it’s INCREDIBLE!!!! I love the thickness of the application brush, and how it instantly swipes across the concealer in seconds, It also picks up just enough of the formula, so a little goes a long way!!!
|| How to Apply ||
- You can apply the Conceal & Define under the eye area, I usually apply the Concealer using the applicator brush in a triangle shape under the eye, as it follows the eye contour shape.
- After you’ve applied the Concealer, depending on whether you get blemishes or not, I get loads in odd places on my face, you can use the applicator brush to apply the concealer directly on top of the blemishes.
- You can blend in the Conceal & Define using multiple ways, through using your your index finger to pat the concealer in, and blend it into the face, I use my Beauty Blender sponge (wetted) using the inner corner of the sponge to blend in the concealer.
